Michelle Jane Connor was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on August 1, 1972. Her parents are Mitchell John Connor and Mary Jane Connor (Dillion). She has an older sister, Sarah Jane Connor (born June 13, 1968). She started the first grade at Saint Mary’s in September 1978. She left St. Mary’s after completing the sixth grade and transferred to St. Augustine’s Academy. She graduated from St. Augustine in June 1990. She started working at the café at Orleans Parish Country Club in June, a week after graduating from St. Augustine. She was reunited with Billie the next month, in July, three days before the Fourth of July, when Billie started working at the café as a waitress. They become friends. Their relationship changed after Michelle’s eighteenth birthday, when they became sexually involved with each other. Their relationship lasted almost a month. When Michelle left New Orleans, Billie took her to the airport, where, before they parted ways, they admitted their feelings for each other. She spent the next two years in New York City until August 1992. She left New York City and moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she started attending Birmingham City University. She would meet Miller Hoffman the following year, in 1993. They became friends and dated during their senior year. Miller moved back to Phoenix a few months after they graduated. Michelle followed him and stayed his friend. Six years later, not long after his first marriage ended, Michelle and Miller married. And Michelle’s memoir, All My Loving, was published. It was about her relationships with Miller, Bobbie, and Billie. She also became the new assistant journalism professor at Arizona State University. Five years later, she became a full-time professor. Her marriage to Miller ended after seven years, in 2009. Three years later, she would publish her second memoir, Love Wasn’t Enough. She would date Henry Ray Daniels for almost a year, from July 2015 to June 2016.
